Seiko 5 Sports The ‘New Regatta Timer’ Retro Colour Collection

The design of this watch pays tribute to the popular Seiko 5 Sports watches from the late 1960s which were a firm fan favourite. The overall look is a combination of newness and heritage – with the dial and the hands being new designs, common to this Retro Colour collection. The case is based on the SKX series case, whilst the bezel resembles the original 1960s models. It has ‘Special Edition’ engraved on the case back. This particular timepiece is inspired by the 6119-6050 – the original ‘Regatta Timer’ released in the late 60s. Seiko 5 Sports watches are known for over fifty years of reliability, durability, performance, and value. ‘’5’’ represents the original five key features of every Seiko 5 still present today: Automatic movement, Day-date display, Water Resistance, Recessed crown and Durable case and bracelet. This watch exhibits a black dial with blue, green and red detailing. The dial also features silver baton indices, silver hour and minute hands, a red second hands and a weekday and date display. Curved Hardlex crystal protects the dial. A stainless steel case frames the dial. It measures 42.5mm in diameter. The watch is secured using a stainless steel bracelet. An automatic movement with up to 41 hours of power reserve powers this timepiece. This model is water resistant up to 100 metres (10 bar).
